SOUTH PENDER ISLAND EASTER SUNDAY ART WALK

Eleven artists on South Pender Island are opening their galleries and studios on Easter Sunday noon to 5.
Look for the yellow balloons and pick up a map at any studio. A fine way to spend a spring afternoon.
A portion of the proceeds of my sales from this show will go to the Pender Young Violins, seven accomplished young musicians who have been accpeted to perform this summer at the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival in Finland.

Join me and other Pender Island artists for a two day show, as part of the 5th Annual Island Mosaic Arts and Music Festival, in the Seagrass Ballroom at Poet's Cove Resort. Enjoy music by "Calliope", a chat with the artists from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday October 20th and Monday October 21st.

My home gallery on South Pender Island, B.C. will be open this summer, 2013. If your travels take you to the Southern Gulf Islands Pender Island is the best of them all! Look for my sign on the only road running the length of South Pender, 5 km south of the one lane bridge.

"Smashing Glass"

"Smashing Glass" , a juried glass art show, opens at Passion For Glass in Calgary on May 16th and runs through June 15th. I have been invited by the jury to show two of my pieces along with over 20 other glass artists from around North America. www.PassionForGlass.ca

Tulista Gallery Exhibit

"One Foot Squared" is a multi-media exhibition produced by the Community Art Council of the Saanich Peninsula. Held at the Tulista Art Gallery in Sidney, B.C. this exhibition features "small expressions" from over 40 artists, including several of my smaller works in glass.
Opening Wednesday March 6th and every Wednesday through Sunday until March 24th. Free admission. The Tulista Gallery is at 9565 5th Street in Sidney, in the park close by the Washington State Ferry terminal.
